Is it permissible to take a loan on interest without a reasonable necessity, such as for buying a luxury car? If yes, are we not promoting it, since profit margin from this transaction can be used for the marketing purposes of such an institution?

Taking a loan on interest for anything required is not a sin. It is sinful only for the debtor who receives interest. The element of Zulm is found with the debtor. The creditor is the one who is exploited. The promotion of interest is not the creditor’s concern. It is the debtor’s responsibility not to get involved in a sin.
