    Salam sir,

    My question is about punishment in grave it’s about a sahabi and hades I font remember is being pressed by earth three times ghamidi sahab Aldi gives the reference about this in his talks as transition to other world I want to know if a sahabi got this treatment what a common man can expect for expect for himself as he is full of sins also ghamidi sahabi doesn’t believe in grave punishment for normal people please explain then why this pressing of the earth.

    For a common man there is no punishment in the grave. It is written in the Qur’an that the people will come out of their graves saying that who awoken us from our graves. Grave punishment is only for those for whom the Hujjah was completed.

    The transition which Ghamidi saheb refers to is not azab but pain or tension of transition. this is referred to as pressing of the grave in the hadith. Its example is childbirth. When a child transit from womb, the womb does the same. It compresses the child to deliver him.
