When we see the whole flow of verses from Quran 56:57-62 then we come to know that these verses are addressing objections of Kuffar on the second creation and they mention that the Al-Mighty God who can create us the first time can also create us the second time, in a new identical form and in a new world. From this we can infer that we will be given new bodies on our second creation.

We have created you. So why do not you testify to the Day of Judgement? Have you pondered on the sperm you discharge? [Whatever is made from it] do you make it or We? We have ordained death among you, and We are not helpless; in fact, We have the power to replace you with those like you and raise you in a world you know not. You surely know of your first creation. So why then do you not receive a reminder from it? (Quran 56:57-62)

But in word to word translation, it doesn’t mention “we have the power to replace you”, it only says “upon death we will change your likeness and produce you in the forms you know not”

Is it correct to read the verses by clicking on the Arabic only like we can do on this site.

Word to word literal translation is not recommended becasue it fails to convey the complete meaning of a sentence and its innate context.

The word used in the verse is Nubaddil, the root word is Baddala, which means to change in form or appearance.

So why this verse mentions “upon death” not on the day of judgement, since these heavens and the earth will be replaced by a new heavens and the earth on the day of judgement.

The context makes it clear that the underlying topic is the day of judgement.
