    When we recite any prayer as example surah Aklas for my mother’s soul do they get that information or it is being used to have Allah’s mercy on them.

    This concept of transfer of Sawab to deceased is not found is Islam. Deeds of other people do not add anything to the account of the deceases except for what they taught to their children and other people or initiated something beneficial for the people during their life.

      So there is no point of reciting any dua for a deceased and then what about saying Durood for Prophet Muhammad?
