The Quran mentions 25 prophets (Nabi) by name but also tells that God sent many other prophets and messengers, to all the different nations that have existed on Earth (See Quran 40:78). Term (Rasool) is mentioned against those prophets in the list below, who according to our understanding of the Quran were given this responsibility in accordance with the law of Itmam-e-Hujjat.
