What of the zygotes that are discarded? They are also fertilised so is it not the same as abortion?

  Even if it is termed as abortion, it would still be acceptable if i) it is done within 120 days of conception and ii) there lies a legitimate excuse and a palpable reason to do so.

  Would it not be better to try one egg at a time as a Muslim? What legitimate excuse is there to kill 4 babies at once? Even abortion at 120 days should be for a reason.

  If any such arrangement can be made then it should be done.
  
  Just wanting a child is definitely not a good enough reason but still the severity of this act is less as compared to if done after 120 days (which is equal to murder of a human being).
