I have a question regarding the calculation of Sadaqat ul Fitr, and I would be grateful for your guidance. I am currently residing and earning in Japan. Therefore, I am wondering about the proper calculation for my Sadaqat ul Fitr.Specifically, I would like to know:

    1. Should I determine my Sadaqat ul Fitr based on the current calculations in Japan, where I reside and earn, or is it acceptable to use calculations from Pakistan?

    2. Alternatively, is it permissible for my family members in Pakistan to pay my Sadaqat ul Fitr on my behalf, based on the calculations used in Pakistan or Japan?

You should calculate according to your earning in Japan. Sadaqat ul Fitr is one day average meal of each member of the family. You can calculate the price of your average meal a day. You give this meal or its price to a poor.

    Thank you sir

Does this mean we generally have three meals in a day, so I have to calculate for three meals or only one meal?

Full day meal, three meals if you have three meals.
