Clarification On Differences In Arabic Text Of The Quran
While reading the tafseer of Quran (2:23-24) in English by Ibn Kathir on the website alim.org, I noticed some difference in the Arabic text (Quran 11:1):
الركِتَـبَأُحْكِمَتْ ءايَـتُهُ ثُمَّ فُصِّلَتْ مِن لَّدُنْ حَكِيمٍ خَبِيرٍ
Elsewhere the text reads as follows:
الٓر ۚ كِتَـٰبٌ أُحْكِمَتْ ءَايَـٰتُهُۥ ثُمَّ فُصِّلَتْ مِن لَّدُنْ حَكِيمٍ
خَبِيرٍ
Why is there a difference between the two texts? In the first, it is ‘kita-ba” while in the second it is”kita-bun”. Does this have to do something with qirat, something else or is it a printing mistake?

can you share where did you find that difference? because my search shows no difference in any recitation for that word..

I have already mentioned that it is at the website alim.org. Here under the tafseer by Ibn Kathir of Surah Baqra (2:23 & 24) if you scroll down you will come across Examples of the Miracle of the Quran. Under this head Quran 11:1 is mentioned as reference and it is the one on which I have based my doubt.

Its probably by mistake because, in other website containing tafsir ibn e kathir use kitabun
