  • Salat And Namaz Difference According To Quran

My point of concern is that when in Quran the word Salat has come, how come we call it Namaz? Is always the terms Salat written in Quran means that it is referring to Namaz?

We call it namaz, Arabs still call it salat, but all of us refer to the same ibada. Words in any language are used to relate an underlying concept. Just by themselves words don’t have any meaning.

I have downloaded this app only for the answer of my question.

As you can see we get way more questions than Ghamidi sahab can answer himself. When we come across any questions that requires Ghamidi sahab’s feedback, we present those questions to him and post back the responses. App description also makes this clear.

Somewhat similar discussion on linguistics related to ‘Qurbani’ in urdu and ‘Nahar’ in Arabic by Ghamidi Sahab. Please refer to the video below from 27:34 to 28:51
