Is Profit On Scholarship Account-Non-Muslim Country Halal?
**Question:** I am an international student currently studying in China. My student account receives a scholarship, and the Bank of China provides an annual profit (interest) on this amount. Since this is a non-Islamic country, I would like to know whether receiving such profit is permissible (halal) in Islam according to the Quran, Hadith, and the authentic Sunnah. Is it allowed for me to take this money, or does it fall under prohibited (haram) earnings? Please provide guidance based on Islamic teachings.

Deposits in banks are, in fact, investments of the accountholder with the bank. The interest provided by the bank on this amount is profit, not Riba; you can use it.
