    Hadith 1:

Narrated Aishah:May Allah bestow His Mercy on the early emigrant women. When Allah revealed: “… and to draw their veils all over their Juyubihinna (i.e., their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms)…” (V.24:31) they tore their Murat (woolen dresses or waist-binding clothes or aprons etc.) and covered their heads and faces with those torn Muruts.

Hadith 2: Narrated Umm Salamah, Ummul Mu’minin: When the verse “That they should cast their outer garments over their persons” was revealed, the women of Ansar came out as if they had crows over their heads by wearing outer garments.

Hadith 3: Narrated Safiya bint Shaiba:

Aisha used to say: “When (the Verse): “They should draw their veils over their necks and bosoms,” was revealed, (the ladies) cut their waist sheets at the edges and covered their heads and faces with those cut pieces of cloth.”

    Hadith 4:

    Narrated `Aishah:

May Allah bestow His Mercy on the early emigrant women.

All Hadiths have been taken from Sahih al Bukhari or Sunan Abi Dawud.

I watched Ghamidi sb videos about parda but I dont understand that why the hadiths say covered their heads. If so why didnt Ghamidi explain this or is he ignorant about these hadiths?

    PLEASE EXPLAIN IN DETAIL..

The Qur’an doesn’t say to cover heads. It is cultural practice that women used to cover their bodies with covering their heads. This is what in the narrations is described as how the women acted upon it. That was their way to take Chadar. As far as the directive is covered it asked only to cover their bosom.
