Once we understand (to some extent) the scheme of the world, that it is a test. Does that mean we now have clarity about the nature of life? If so, then going forward, do we need to rely purely on reason to navigate through life? Or does religion continue to guide us, not just about why the world was created, but also how to live in it?

In other words, does religion only inform us about the purpose and nature of the world “that it is a test” and then leave it to us to use our reason to solve both moral and material problems? Or does religion also provide practical guidance on how to deal with the challenges of life, whether ethical or worldly?

We have intellect and innate morality which guide us in in the mundane matters and moral and ethical affairs.

Religion guides us in the matters about which we have no knowledge or we can’t reach a final decision, like how to worship God and how to distribute inheritance or what is the status of Riba or interest.

Religion shows us the ways to attain more purification of body, ethics and food.
