Taking Bank Loan And Paying Interest
As-Salam-O-Alaikum
I am currently working in Abu Dhabi. I need to take a personal loan from a bank, and I intend to use that money to buy gold. The bank charges interest on the loan, and I will have to repay the loan with interest.
My question is: Is it halal or haram to take this kind of loan with interest, even if the purpose is to buy gold or fulfill a need?
