I’m sorry sir, I’d like to ask you again about this.

Can you give me a list of examples of actions that can make a minor sin fall into the category of arrogance?

I’m asking this because I’m confused about what activities can make a minor sin fall into the category of arrogance.

If minor sins are done knowingly to disobey Allah then it is Arrogance. But if they are done under influence of emotions, wishes and whims with a sense of repentance, then it is not arrogance.

What does it mean “under influence of immotions”?

Can you give me an example?

For example, a person watches porn because of sexual urge.

Oh like that, if he does it out of emotion and not because he wants to disobey God’s revelation, it is a minor sin.

however, if he does it because he does not want to follow the command of God then it is major sins (arrogance).

Isn’t everyone like that, sir? I mean if a person doesn’t want to follow God’s commandments at all then he doesn’t care if he commits a minor sin or a major sin (because he doesn’t believe in the commandments).

Then for Muslims who believe in Allah’s commandments, then they know that adultery is a grave crime in Islam (a major sin) and in the Quran itself not to approach adultery, but people who commit minor sins already know these two things. They do it because their libido is too strong (not because they want to disobey Allah’s commandments), but they don’t know how to vent it (because they are not married), and the only way to vent it is to watch porn.

And people also think watching porn is better than having to go to places that can lead to great sin such as strip clubs and places like that.

So I mean how can a person fall into arrogance if he knows that adultery is a crime and he’s just doing something that has little impact like watching porn etc?

Doesn’t committing a minor sin mean that he has disobeyed God’s commandment? (I mean disobeying here for certain verses such as “do not approach adultery, etc.” but for others still follow especially those that lead to major sins).

But because he didn’t commit a major sin, it means that his minor sins should be forgiven, isn’t that right sir?
