Ghamidi Sahab'S View On Hadeeth
Syedna ghamidi has repeatedly stated that hadeeth collection is a historical record. Yet Mezzan cintains various hadeeth. In that book he seems to be arguing that whoever finds a hadeeth to be true, it’s incumbent on him to follow it. It seems contradictory. If hadeeth are historical record, they under no circumstance be a source of religion.

There is no contradiction. Being a historical record does not preclude the fact that the record contains religious instructions and guidance, too.

That implies that hadeeth literaute do contain deen. That Prophet in addition to Qur’an and Sunnah did gave us deen that’s transmitted via the narrators

Hadith contains the applications and explanations of Deen.

then احاد is being used to interpret what we get from تواتر; why is he accepting solitary reports as a framework of interpretation. How can one substantiate it?
Moroever the verse he qoures “حتى يحكموك فيما شجر بينهم” to substantiate hadeeth’s authority to explain religion, this verse, seeing in context , doesn’t seem about religious matters but worldly disputes.

If a report is reliable it should be accepted. If it is about Deen it increase our knowledge and understanding. If it is about the worldly affair which the prophet decided we again have to accept it if it is something belongs to us now.
