I bought some bags for my foreigner colleague. He paid the actual amount to me. But I got some loyalty points in my account. Can I use that points for my purchases or is it necessary to inform him about this or I am allowed to use them for myself?

Your loyalty points is an extra benefit which has nothing to do with the money of your colleagues. It is like you go to a shop to buy something for someone and the shop keeper offer you a drink as a favour.
