Is there any special preference given to Aml Ahl al Madinah over Akhbar al Ahad in terms of practical mas’alas (like reciting fatiha in prayers, rafal yadayn) in Farahi school of thought?

It does not hold any unique significance in Farahi School. It was the viewpoint of Imam Malik where preference was given to amal Ahl-e-Medina over Ahad Narrations on matters of practice.
