Why Do We Pray
Why should we pray? Back then there were diseases who were incurable and people die of it. People would pray and it won’t work. Hundreds of people would die of viral and bacterial infections. But now modern science has find treatments and it’s curable. Prayers don’t heal diseases. Treatment does. So why should we pray???

Prayers don’t heal diseases so for this reason we should not pray? Is this your argument?

وَ مَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَ الْاِنْسَ اِلَّا لِیَعْبُدُوْنِ(56)اور میں نے جِنّ اور آدمی اتنے ہی لئے بنائے کہ میری بندگی کریں ۔
{ وَ مَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَ الْاِنْسَ اِلَّا لِیَعْبُدُوْنِ: اور میں نے جن اور آدمی اسی لئے بنائے کہ میری عبادت کریں ۔} ارشاد فرمایا کہ میں نے جنوں اور انسانوں کو صرف دنیا طلب کرنے اور ا س طلب میں مُنہَمِک ہونے کے لئے پیدا نہیں کیا بلکہ انہیں اس لئے بنایا ہے تاکہ وہ میری عبادت کریں اور انہیں میری معرفت حاصل ہو
