Am I Obliged To Pay International Tax Too?
I live in Pakistan and want to sell subscriptions for my software to US residents but I just discovered US will take 20% tax from my own money earned from subscriptions as sales tax which feels absurd, I don’t even live there. If I don’t pay that, am I going against religious directives?

You are dealing with a foreign territory’s clientele, so you must follow their legal requirements.
Usually, sales tax is an indirect mode of taxation which is transferred to the end user. You can charge this to your clients and show in the price breakup the U.S Sales tax as a separate cost item to ensure transparency.
