The picture below is from Shahzad Saleem sahib’s version of Meezan and in this statement by hazrat Umar states that the poetry of jahiliyyah period contains the tafsir of quran. So how does poetry contain the tafsir I didn’t understand this point?

Tafseer means interpretation, context, explanation, or commentary. Evidently, what’s being said is that the poetry contains the required context and the meanings of the words that will help in understanding the Quran.
