Keeping Windows And Doors Closed After Maghrib
Assalamualaikum. What is the ruling on keeping windows and doors open at night?The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
> “Close your doors and mention the name of Allah, for the devil does not open a closed door.”(Sahih al-Bukhari 3280)He also said:
> “When night falls (or when you reach the time of Maghrib), keep your children indoors, because the devils spread out at that time.”(Bukhari 3280, Muslim 2012)Please explain the ruling in the light of Quran and these ahadees. JazakAllah khair -
