Questions About Yusuf AS Actions In His Story
Why didn’t Hazrat Yusuf AS look for his family himself in the story?
Secondly, why didn’t he tell his brothers he was Yusuf AS when they first came for food?

He was a slave and then imprisoned for several years. When he came to power, he got busy with the arrangements for the upcoming famine. He could not find time to look for his family.
He was looking for an appropriate time to reveal his identity. When the brothers got humbled, he told them his identity.

Thank you. I have a follow-up question: How come the brothers being humbled was necessary? I heard Ghamidi Saab say something like this in the Al Bayan series too but he did not explain why.

His brothers had a mischievous and rebellious attitude. It was appropriate to find a suitable moment to reveal his identity.

I understand. I have another question:
How come the azeez didn’t do anything to separate his wife and Yusuf AS after the incident at their house?
It seems that he didn’t because the event with the other women occured afterwards.

It seems that such debauchery was not uncommon in their society, which is why he did not arrange the separation.

Thank you. May Allah reward you.
