I have OCD, and during prayer I keep repeating the verses because I feel my pronunciation must be perfect. I keep repeating each individual letter as well. I also cannot recite Salah in a low voice; I feel like I can’t hear myself properly, and then I worry that my prayer won’t be accepted. Even when I start Salah, I repeat Takbeer-e-Tehreema out loud 15–20 times. I’m extremely distressed by this. I also take a very long time in Wuzu because I keep worrying that maybe some part stayed dry.

Because of this, I want to shorten my Wuzu. According to the Qur’an, is performing only the obligatory parts of Wuzu—washing the face, the hands up to the elbows, wiping the head, and washing the feet—enough to make my Wuzu valid?
