Test, Justice, Mercy And The Hereafter
I’ve been recently overthinking,
That Allah is the most merciful, the most just but also his justice and mercy aren’t promised for only the worldly life. There are people who are wronged immensely in this world but they do not get the justice in this world.
Yes I believe with all of my heart, that they will be rewarded in the hereafter, but still when it comes to myself and when I pray to Allah for something, I always have this in my subconscious mind that Allah might not fulfill this prayer of mine, he may not lift the suffering, but he will reward me in the hereafter.
Am I weak in faith when I doubt in Allah’s Justice and mercy ( in this world) while praying. Although I believe that the reward in the hereafter is certain.
But always the worldly feelings, connect more and then the uncertainty of the hereafter also kicks in and the mind keeps overthinking and dwelling and keeps being sad!
Recently what we are witnessing in Gazza, the Rohingya crises and Sudan, also in the past, what happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, what happened with the Jews in Germany, these things make it very depressing that Allah sometimes let’s the oppressor flourish and divine intervention doesn’t always come in this world!
Sorry for the elaborate explanation, my simple question is,
Am I deficient in faith if sorrow, suffering and hardship especially of the weak, makes me doubt divine providence and hence the certainty with which I belive in the hereafter starts to fade away?
