Online Qurbani
Assalamo alaikum,
My question is about online qurbani/udhiya. Is it acceptable to donate money for online qurbani in a poor country? Some scholars say that it is not acceptable as in one country an online organization may slaughter animal according to their time zone in which case the eid day could be earlier than the donor’s home country. They say that you must have offered eid prayer before you slaughter the animal. Could you please explain?
