What would be a good response to a person who is Catholic by birth, believes in God, but is not sure which God to believe in. He asks: Among Muslims, Muhammad is more important culturally than Jesus, is it not? But what would Islam say on such matters?

Thank you for pointing me to this thread! In the Hadith reported in this thread, it says: “(5) I have been sent as a prophet to all mankind”. But is it not the case that the Banu Israel (and their prophets) were also supposed to transmit the message of Allah to all mankind?
I have watched the Zaviya series, and I found it very interesting. Can it be found in a written form?

Bani Israel as a nation was appointed as a community to establish truth on the world.
Except for Rasool in Bani Israel, the primary aim of the prophets was to lead Bani israel. There was a chain of prophets. After one dies, another prophet became the leader of community.
Similarly, Hazrat Isa was sent as last prophet to bani israel primarily as last sign for them.
