Assalamu Alaikum, I have 2 questions:

1)want to know if someone sees a potential in silver or gold these day that it is increasing day by day, and many people are buying them, he sees a bit of graphs, youtube videos and he buy them as much as he can, is it satta? haram? because it is not sure, one day the price has gone up, the other day it can go down – u can either win or lose money. so is it Satta??

    2) If yes, how he can get rid of haram amal without losing his money? should he wait for these metals to reach the same level of money and sell those? or is it okay now to sell and make profit? or should he sell those even if he loses some money due to lower value?

Also, I was wondering whenever we buy land so we could sell in future, we kind of do the same analysis right? then why that is fine and this is not?

This is not satta or speculative. It is a business in which things are exchanged. It happens in every business. This is called risk.

Satta is a form of gambling, where you can win various prizes by chance, without any investment or effort required or giving anything in return.
