Aoa! I Want To Know About Sauna And Nafal
The rakats that we daily offer with farz for example 2 with fajr . Now some say it’s nafal and some say sunnat. If these are nafal why we say let’s perform to rakat sunnat and if they are sunnat why scholars on the behalf of hadiths skip them. The fact is that sunna can’t be skipped .

Fuquha adopted different terminologies for different acts to categorize them. According to Fiqh Hanafi, the Nawafil that the holy prophet performed more punctually and emphasized are sunnah, and others are nafal. The holy prophet did not categorize them.
In fact, besides farz, all other prayers are nawafil. They are not obligatory. However, one should perform them to get more sawab.
