Is There An Age For Seeking Religious Knowledge?
Assalamu alaikum,@Irfan76 Sir, my question is: Is there a specific age for acquiring knowledge of the religion?I remember that when I was young, I used to read the Qur’an and offer prayers simply by following others or because someone told me to. At that time, I also read various issues in Maulana Maududi’s Tafsir, Tafheem-ul-Qur’an, which I only truly became aware of and understood later in life.Even now, I see that my younger sister, who is only 10 or 11 years old, also picks up books of tafsir. Should she be stopped from reading such things — matters that she may not yet be fully ready to understand or become familiar with?

She should not be stopped. Let her raise the questions and get the answers. If a problem she could not understand, tell her to wait until she is able to understand.
