Can one take naswar in Ramadan as it does not go to the stomach directly but soothes the mind by just putting in the mouth under one of the lips?

Using naswar during Ramadan while fasting is not permissible and it is prohibited in the state of fasting. Although naswar is placed in the mouth, its juice mixes with saliva and can pass through the throat to the stomach. According to jurists, anything whose substance or effect goes down the throat breaks the fast. Therefore, taking naswar while fasting is not allowed and it invalidates the fast. A Muslim should completely refrain from naswar during the fast and, if they wish to use it, they should do so only after breaking the fast at iftar.
