1- can it be payed in cash or does it need to be staple food.

2- is it the general amount equal to what a normal person eats in a community or is it specific to how the person who pays the fitrana eats in a day ( ex- my dad eats quite a lot of meat rather than wheat so should his fitrana be more?). I’ve noticed people use the price of a fixed quantity wheat (2-3 kg ) to calculate for per person, is this appropriate when their own diet might not use too much wheat?

2- if the above is the case then I have an infant daughter who I give quite expensive supplements, should I include them in fitrana calculation?

It can be paid in either cash or staple food. It is the food of a person that he/she consumes in a day and is obligatory on every person whether young or old, and is given at the end of Ramadan before the eid prayer is offered.

As the head of the household, you determine the typical daily consumption for yourself and then pay the same amount on behalf of all dependents under your care.

But like, the amount a person (in general) eats in a day or the amount of food you consume in a day ( which could be more or less expensive)

What YOU consume. Everyone has to assess their food consumption, which could be different for different people depending on their lifestyle.
