Addition In Fajr Azaan – “As Salatu Khairum Minan Nawm”
Salamualaikum,
Is the addition of words in fajr azaan (“As salatu khairum minan nawm”) sunnah ?
What was the fajr azaan before Umar made the addition? If the addition of words “as salatu khairum minan nawm” was the established practice in prophets time then why only Abu Mahdhurah narrations reports this practice ? why not other narrators report this practice?
