What is the Islamic perspective on the claim that a Greater Israel will be established, that a temple will be built in place of Masjid Al-Aqsa, and that Imam Mahdi and Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him) will then appear? To what extent are these beliefs supported in Islamic teachings and authentic sources?

Bani Israel, or the Jews, were the Chosen People of God. They were given Palestine, the old one that included major parts of the Middle East. Later, because of their misdeeds, God exiled them from these lands. Now they are trying to regain the whole area, but international laws and treaties do not allow them to do so. They gain what they can when they find an opportunity.

Mehdi was an imaginary figure whose idea became popular among Muslims.

The second coming of Jesus is mentioned in some traditions from the Holy Prophet; however, Ghamidi saheb did not accept them on their face value, because the Quran had announced the death of Jesus.

For details, please watch the series Imam Mehdi and Second Coming of Jesus by Ghamidi saheb.

In Islam, is the idea of ‘Greater Israel’ something certain or just speculation? Also, how certain is the belief in the return of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him)? And how does that relate to the concept of Dajjal? whom Prophet Jesus is believed to defeat—understood?

It is not speculation. Dajjal will help Jews attain this goal of theirs, and the true followers of Jesus will counter him along with Muslims.
