Assalamu Alaikum, we know zina is a major sin in islam. But what about minor zina, is it considered a minor sin in Islam? For example, zina of the eyes, the tongue, the hands or the feet. Is this all a minor sin? (Asking for educational purposes to gain knowledge on the topic) JazakAllahu Khairan.

Yes, acts such as “zina of the eyes” or “zina of the tongue” are generally regarded as minor sins. The principle is that unless the major sin itself is actually committed, the actions that may lead up to it are treated as minor sins.
