People sometimes leave marriage because they are just very unhappy ( from what I’ve heard). Is that really reason enough to seperate ?What about when they feel very hurt by the other person by way of betrayal ( betrayal can sometimes not be a inherently sinful activity but just one that deeply hurts and breaks the trust of someone- wife keeping contact with people that have greatly psychologically harmed the husband or husband taking a second wife against the first wife’s wishes).

It is our universal and local norms that determine that one is committing transgression or not. Most of the time the transgression is unquestionable but at times it can be subjective. People may have different opinions. In the second case a person is responsible for his or her honest decision. And only the person and God knows if his or her action is done with bad intention or not.
The holy prophet ended the unhappy marriages on request.
