  • Why Son Of Adam Has His Share Of Zina?

    As salamualaikum,

Why Allah has placed everyone’s share of zina if he says don’t go near zina. This is traumatizing and depressing for the pious and hopefull for the sinner who did it accidently but a license for the person who is not truthful with themselves.

    Example: https://www.islamweb.net/en/fatwa/382189/phone-sex-is-not-real-zina

Real question is why did Allah put share of zina in everyone’s account?

The second important aspect of this question is why does people accidently fall into committing zina? They know very well before doing the act that it is haram then why does they do it.

This happened in sahaba’s time and that prophet tried to excuse a sahabi for execution but he still insisted. If the guilt is so high that sahabi wanted to self punish himself then why did he do it in the first place. A person of high taqwa would not go willingly near zina. So , what other factors made him do it? It was his destiny then how do we have free choice against sins.

Does shaytan makes people do it or is the share that Allah has written in the person’ destiny does it? Its not shaytan because the hadith clearly states that – “The son of Aadam will have his share of Zina no matter how well he/she endeavors to avoid it. Shaytan is only powerful if son of adam listens to him and not act on his whispers but the hadith clearly states that “how well he/she endeavors to avoid it.

Is it only the psychological reasons the person goes near zina or is it also theological reasons?

    Jazakallahu khaira.

God has given humans free will, but sexual desire is powerful. Looking at someone with lust can lead to sin. While it’s considered a lesser sin, it can open the door to greater wrongdoing if acted upon. That is why it called a share in zina.

At times, desire can overwhelm a person. That’s why God has said that those who commit a major sin in a moment of intense emotion and sincerely repent afterward are forgiven.

We have the example of Prophet Yusuf. Despite having every opportunity and facing strong temptation, he chose not to commit adultery and accepted prison instead.

Sir, I agree but we are not prophet Yusuf who had a direct hotline/connection with God and son of a prophet or who can open doors just by running towards them or by breaking them with his bare hands. I think any muslim on this planet if he gets a direct hotline with God or God helps that person from the unseen can do many great actions of piety. God directly speaks to prophets, shows them matters of unseen and yet asks 1400 years later muslims to believe in the unseen without seeing and not talking to him directly. This aspect of Islam is still unclear to me.

Sir, please clarify about the hadith clearly mentioning no matter how much he endeavours to avoid it mean? Is this not destined sin written in everyone’s account by God?

Similar hadith also mentions that good and bad deeds are written before a person is born so where is the free choice to abstain from sin ?
