Role And Impact Of AI And Social Interaction
Would like to know about Ghamidi sb view on AI and its potential impacts on humanity and guidance Islam provides on such an human advancement? What checks and balances are required.
Recently The Pope/Vatican commented on the topic at Magnifica Humanitas, and it would be good if an Islamic scholar also sheds some light on it from Islamic perspective.
Pls see recent speech by Pope on potential risks and adverse impacts of AI here : https://youtu.be/aaYJ_4QcZfE?si=KWIyrFGXyKy_xF5l
Recently the Vatican also issued a letter on Social Communications and potentially adverse role of AI – see here: https://www.vatican.va/content/leo-xiv/en/messages/communications/documents/20260124-messaggio-comunicazioni-sociali.html
It would be good to schedule a brief session on the topic of AI alone
