    Assalamualaikum Ghamidi Sahib,
I live in Europe and sometimes I wear clothes here that are common in this environment, especially at the beach or outside, because I personally like them. It’s not that I am not a practicing Muslim … I do pray and try to follow Islam.

But I often worry whether Allah will forgive me for dressing this way. My husband says that Allah will question him about why he did not stop or guide me.

I wanted to ask..in Islam, how should this situation be understood? Is my husband responsible for my clothing choices, and does this mean Allah will not forgive me?

Any clothes that well cover your body can be worn.

By European swimming dress you mean, bikni or one piece suit, then they donot fulfil islamic requirment of satr. TO understand the principle of islamic dressing see Ghamidi sb response on satr

Your husband can be accountable if he don’t advise you the islamic principle despite knowing it as he is the incharge of house hold.

I mean, I usually wear half sleeves and bottoms that come down to my knees. Also, as you know, swimsuits are typically tight and body-hugging. Is it okay to wear that?
