The people are made to sleep till the day of judgement. They will awake on the day of judgement. The punishment of grave is for those on whom the Hujjah was conclusively completed through Rasool, and God decided to punish them in their life and after their death and on the day of dudgement they will sent to hell. For the rest, their fate will be decided in the trial in the court of God.
