Mother’s Duties To Adult Children
Salaam, please advice if as a mother I get emotionally hurt and disappointed by my adult children due to their behaviour and words used when I was physically and emotionally unwell. Their behaviour hurt too much and I left the house where we live, just 3 of us. I did that to give myself space and think. It has been a day and no contact from them. Firstly have I done anything wrong under Allah’s duties upon a mother? Secondly, if I am thinking that forgetting all of it and just go home like nothing happened will give them a message that they can continue with what is hurtful for me. Please advise what should be my next steps which are pleasing to Allah SWT. Thanks
