Needs Of Society
There is a mixim in fiqh which says that if knowledge of certain sciences is necessary for the society to thrive then it becomes individual responsibility of those who possess it to use that knowledge for the betterment of the society. Now how do we relate this to those who migrate to other countries to make their own life better while ignoring the needs of their society?

Wherever they are, they will be serving society. They can serve only because the society needs them. It is not wrong to think of one’s own betterment. There is no compulsion to serve the society one is born in.

So whats better in the sight of Allah ? Helping fellow Muslims of the society in which you were born who are living in a miserable state or letting them rot away and move to a society which is already way more developed and serving there ?
