Classic Literature With Religious Polytheistic Elements
Is it permissible to read literature and by extension watch media about classic Greek literature like the Iliad, tale of Orpheus or Persephone. I did grow reading short Greek and Norse tales as a child, I kinda just used to view them as fantasy so it didn’t have much of an effect on my monotheistic believes personally. What about epics such as the odyssey which is not actually about Greek gods but might have references of them as real to the world view?
