If done publicly in a proper gathering in front of the society (relatives,family)It establishes the bond of nikah between two people…As the core validity of nikah is to publicize it..public announcement fullfi it.
But in today’s time many boys and girls are involved in dating culture and they talk to each other also people who are engaged to each other
They may at some point exchange verbal vows like claiming each other to be husband and wife ..
My question is that simply saying each other husband and wife before nikah and doing ijab o qabool (privately) casually out of ignorance
Does these casual claims and conversation establish a real nikah?
Secondly in the worst case scenario if a couple did ijab o qabool between the two but never publicize it never involved in wrong acts…later they broke of their engagement and their parents married them off to other people..
Does their previously verbal claims in private out of ignorance has any affect on their current marriages

Question one:
If ijaab o qabool was did in private between two people casually.. whether they are in a Haram relationship or they are engaged to each other.
If they never publicize it..never claimed in front of society that they are husband and wife from now on.
Not claiming any private verbal claims in front of society doesn’t pass the legal boundary to form a nikah?
If not then are they free to marry any other person
Or the nikah is still established if not claimed in front of any other person except the two.
If the mistake of ijab o qabool is done out of ignorance and was never publicized cz the boy and girl didn’t know it can create nikah..and later they married other people what is the rulling.
