Istidraj And Its Application
Can anyone tell me what istidraj is? I looked it up on Google, and it says this: “Istidraj is a trap in the form of an abundance of worldly pleasures, wealth, or power that Allah bestows upon those who continually commit sins and are negligent.”
Does that mean that if I keep committing minor sins but don’t go as far as committing major sins, I could still fall into istidraj? -

If one fears Allah and fulfills one’s religious obligations, one does not need to think that God will lead one to Hell. It shows distrust in God. God is not like that.
Istadraj has different meanings. But you have got your answer.

I think I understand what you mean.Istidraj is intended for people who make money from extremely unforgivable wrongdoings or commit major sins.
Real-life examples include corrupt officials who thrive on the fruits of their behavior, slanderers who succeed in spreading lies and prosper because of their actions, and a prostitute who lives in luxury because of her work.
This does not apply to someone who still commits minor sins but does not progress toward major sins. Also, this person still prays as part of their daily life.
