During nikah is it permissible for the woman to make herself the leader of the household by taking on the financial responsibility? If its allowed then would that mean that she can have multiple husbands since Ghamidi sahab once said that the reason women arent allowed 4 husbands is because of the structure of marriage. Being the head of a family and having multiple spouses are not inherently inseparable. A woman cannot have multiple husbands because of biological and practical realities. Pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and nursing require significant physical commitment and time. She cannot simultaneously bear children from different husbands or fulfill the responsibilities of raising children in multiple households at the same time. As a result, she cannot realistically divide herself among different families.
