Question Regarding The Surah Yasin Verse 37 To 40
Hi,
I have a question regarding the verses of Surah Yasin from 37 to 40. And it is not just these verses it is something which I observed almost all the verses when Allah discussed about the night and day. But this verse is important because here Allah all mighty is pointing towards the sign about the night.
While individual verses in Quranic verses like Surah Yasin (37–40) do not directly contradict modern science, but reading the passage as a whole suggests an empirical, observation-based worldview. The description of day and night appears to be related with the movement of the sun and the whole passage gives you an idea that night and day comes with the sun movement just like a simple observer could have seen.
it appears that it stem from early human observations—such as tracking the sun rising in the east, tracing an arc across the sky, and setting in the west—leading to the deduction that sun move along designated Orbits. Similarly, observing the moon’s repeating phases and visible journey across the sky naturally reinforces the idea of distinct, circular trajectories for both bodies. Consequently, when read as a complete narrative, the text reflects a geocentric, phenomenological perspective based on what an observer experiences on Earth, attributing the cause of day and night directly to the motion of the sun rather than the rotation of the Earth which is contradicting with ESTABLISHED SCIENCE. Moreover the verse that says that Sun and Moon does not catch each other it is also a kind of visible observation while in reality the sun and moon are light years apart and there are lot of planets in between them, although this doesnt seem to be contradicting but to me it seems like that the passage is only based on the common observation not from someone who was created the universe and knows everything. Please help me out ? as this is really bothering me ??
