If khula can unilaterally dissolve marriage now ( as per my knowledge).
I understand why it was necessary. But now it is unfair on the man to be legally bound to bear financial responsibility?

Wasn’t the whole concept behind this qawwamiyat financial responsibility in exchange for control?

Khula can be replaced by tanseekh-e-nikkah here as per ghamidi.
But the whole concept of qawwamiyat collapses when the woman is not bound to obey the man.
