Recently i was suffering from unwanted distressing thoughts but i overcame them. And now those kind of thoughts don’t bother me any more even though they apear still but i don’t give them importance cz i know they cannot destroy my faith

Cz belief appears from the heart and Allah knows how much a person value their faith

    Most recently i suffered something

Like my mind is being delusional

I know deep down that i didn’t thought anything dangerous about faith

But my mind keep on forcing me that you may have thought such a dangerous scenario even though i didn’t

Im not sure that i thought such scenario but my mind is putting me in doubtful situation i dont know how to ignore and move on

But i do tell one thing to my self that these doubts dont matter because i know im a Muslim and these doubts and thoughts cannot change the reality that im a Muslim and a believer

    1st question:

Does having being doubtful about if one thought somethiy dangerous or not

What should they do ?should they ignore the doubts and move on and continue their normal life without questioning that what should be done now as a Muslim

    2nd question

Not about myself but for example

Even if we look at the situation in the way that a person actually thought something dangerous

its just one is sitting and randomly they started thinking about the worst case scenario the worst possibility in their mind out of nowhere

So my question is that just thinking about it actually put one faith in danger in reality?

And does it breaks the marriage too?

Even though they are a Muslim and thwy have no bad intention to deny anything

They are happy being a Muslim and there is no other option they can ever think for themselves they are satisfied and content that islam is their religion

In matters of religion, it is only a serious and deliberate intention that has legal or moral consequences.

In your case, these are unwanted and involuntary thoughts, so they do not have any effect. You should not worry about whether such thoughts have any religious consequences.

However, since these thoughts are troubling you, it would be advisable to consult a psychiatrist.

“In matters of religion, it is only a serious and deliberate intention that has legal or moral consequences”

Sir what is a serious and deliberate intention and how is it different from involuntary thoughts and involuntary worries about faith?

According to what i have understand

Involuntary thoughts and worries of mind are e.g a person is sitting anf flood of thoughts are appearing in his mind about faith he is worried that what if he slipped out of faith

And after thinking that he get more scared that why he thought such a thing

He got worried about his faith ,his standing in front of Allah

    Deliberate and serious intention

The person sits deliberately and makes a intention in his heart that he no longer wanna be in islam and he deny the basics tenents and he deliberately chooses apostasy

And he do so with his actions

He dont bother anything he is not worried on his decision

If im not correct kindly guide me with your scholarly knowledge sir about how a deliberate intention ia different from involuntary thoughts

    @Irfan76 sir?

And one more during the phase where the person was having doubtful thoughts and he for a moment may have thought that what if he slipped out

Even though he dont want to.

But when he got his answers from a reliable source and he cane to know that he didnt slipped out

So the doubtful phase has no impact on his actual beliefs?

    Am i right?

Serious intention is your own intention; it does not bother you. When it bothers you, it is not yours.

You are advised not to follow your thoughts and seek answers to them. They are ineffective. Consult a psychiatrist.
