Did Prophet Not Hit Wife Or Slave?
I have seen this hadith Muslim 2328 cited numerous times narrated by Aisha (RA) that Prophet (PBUH) never hit any wives or slaves. However, there is also another contradictory hadith from Aisha (RA) that Prophet (PBUH) hit Aisha (RA) in the chest that she felt pain Muslim 4:2127. How dgo we reconcile the two?
