Their understanding of this about the phrase” وَلَٰكِن شُبِّهَ لَهُم” draws strong disagreements when it comes to the principle of itmaam e hujjat.
The critics argue that believing Allah produced a carbon copy from among the people and who was mistaken as Jesus and hanged to death is a problematic result…
Imagine Allah did so..and when in Quran, years later, address yahood that they just killed a false person..and not Jesus, …..the Yahoo who, in their perception, actually killed Jesus and they didn’t know it is a carbon copy , can’t agree with the statement of Quran…
Yahood had an established tawatur of this incident where a so called carbon-copy( which they believe was a Jesus) was crusified……they can tell ” O common on! Everyone knows it was Jesus killed over there …. people identified the dead body and so… everyone knows it …..it is a historical fact… And you are telling he was not Jesus but some replacement….dtz crazy…. So, Quran can’t use this understanding of the above phase as argument for ” itmaam e hujjat ” on yahood.. they will simplify say , it is false…
Critics say, that when the word “shuba” comes with proposition “aala” in this phrase only then can we go towards this taveel…but here comes the word “la” instead of “aala” after shuba
Besides, they say, producing a carbon copy of Jesus to be crusified serves no purpose, rather it makes their belief strong against the verse of Quran…but in quran we know , every mojza serves a purpose from the point of itmaam e hujjat
They conclude that by this verse we should just believe that things were made ambiguous for them—that they followed Jesus and suddenly he disappeared…and until now they don’t know where he is…dead or alive …Allah left them to guessing until the day of judgment…
